Football Fun

S.S.O.C. did an amazing job - organising yet another fantastic fun festival for KS2 to join in with!

We battled on, even when it got chilly!

Well done to all.

You showed great sportsmanship, skill and teamwork!

Active Fun Club

This week some of us from Swans started a new Active Fun Club where we will play lots of different active games.

This week we played GOALBALL.

Goalball is a team sport designed specifically for athletes with a vision impairment. We used blindfolds and competed in teams of three.  We threw a ball that had bells in it and tried to score across the oppositions goal line.  The ball was thrown by hand and never kicked. We had to listen very carefully to try and stop the ball going over the line so that the other team didn't score.

We really enjoyed this game and we're looking forward to something different next week!

More Cross Country

This was the actual cross country competition where LOTS of other schools competed.  Our Under 11 boys team came 7th out of 14 other small schools!

Celebrating Football !

Girls in KS2 joined many other schools in a morning dedicated to football.  Learning new skills, making new friends and playing in games was a great and enjoyable way to spend part of the day.

Mad Science Week

What a super week we have had sharing our experiments and learning lots of new things!

SSOC organised our "Crounders" festival!

(a cross between cricket and rounders!)

Well done to Ash who were our winners!

Health and Well-being Festival and 5000m Challenge

Some children from Swallows and Penguins had a fun and active afternoon, taking part in this festival.

They even completed a 5000m Challenge with other schools from the area!

Well done to all those who took part!
