From Upper Arley Church of England Primary School.
On behalf of the children, staff and governors, I welcome you to Upper Arley Church of England Primary School.
At Upper Arley we believe each and every child is unique and not a number.
Our school motto:
“ Nurture, Encourage, Inspire”
sums up our views on how to help our children to achieve their best.
We believe children should be nurtured and feel cared for in a family environment. They should feel secure and confident to celebrate their uniqueness whilst they learn how to play their part in a community.
They should be encouraged to to try new things, to experiment, to be brave and build up resilience in an environment that they feel safe to do so.
Our children should be inspired. Inspired to learn, inspired to create, inspired to step outside their comfort zone.
The ethos of our school reflects the Christian values that we share but we strive to teach our children of other religions, cultures and ways of thinking so that they are prepared for life in modern Britain
We embrace our local environment and ensure it forms a big part of our learning whilst also ensuring that our children know about the world outside of Arley.
Our curriculum focuses on skills that we know our children need to prepare them for life beyond Upper Arley.
We want our children to go out into the world and be a success in whatever they do whilst still looking back fondly at their time with us.
Upper Arley C of E Primary school is more than just a school. It is a family and a community
Everyone is welcome.
Mrs Nina Geithner-Hill ( Deputy Headteacher)
