From Upper Arley Church of England Primary School.
On behalf of the children, staff and governors, I welcome you to Upper Arley Church of England Primary School.
The school was opened in 1861 and is located in the tranquil village of Upper Arley overlooking the beautiful Severn Valley and the Severn Valley Steam Railway. (Hence the railway theme on the website and school logo!)
We are a welcoming, inclusive family school with a strong Christian ethos, a sense of community and a commitment for excellence for all the children in our care. We aim to make sure that each one of our pupils feels safe and is enthusiastic, secure and confident. We do this by nurturing each child’s uniqueness and responding to individual needs. We want each child to be successful in their learning and to make a meaningful contribution to the world.
As a Voluntary Controlled School we have very close links with St Peter’s Church in Upper Arley. We aim to value faith, but welcome everyone regardless of their faith and beliefs.
We are proud of our school and hope that through this website you will get a taste of what we offer and how we work. Whether you are a parent, a pupil or a friend of the school, I hope you enjoy finding out about our unique school. If you are a prospective parent I would be very happy to meet you and show you around. Please contact the school to arrange a visit.
