School 17-18

Languages Day June 2018

All the children learnt different languages linked with teams that are England's group for the World cup.  They learnt Spanish, French, Arabic and Russian!

They also had the chance to work with different children from different year groups.  They even fitted in a game of football too!

An amazing day!

World Book Day 2018

We have had a lovely day celebrating World Book Day and dressing up as some of our favourite book characters. The children's costumes were all very creative and the staff dressed up too! Prizes were given for the best costume in each class and also the best overall costume. Have a look at some of our costumes from today.

Britain's Strictly Got Talent At Upper Arley 2017!

Just before Christmas we held our annual talent show! A variety of different acts took part in the show, including singers, dancers, comedians and puppeteers! All of the acts performed brilliantly and our audience of children, teachers and parents were very supportive and involved. The audience got up to dance throughout the show, and we even managed to get some of the teachers and parents onto the stage! Well done to all!

We have been busy with our Winter craft afternoon where we have been making decorations to sell at our Christmas Fair. This was an idea that our school council came up with.

This gave us chance to do something a little bit different and to work with children from different classes - something our school loves to do!

It was wonderful for the staff to see how well the children worked together and how brilliant our older children were with the younger children.

What a lovely afternoon!
